Castleross Construction is seeking experienced Formworkers, Concreters, Riggers, and Steelfixers for upcoming FIFO and Perth metro infrastructure projects across WA. These roles involve working as part of a skilled team delivering high-quality concrete and structural works in a fast-paced site environment. What's on Offer? $60-65/hour (depending on experience) 3:1 FIFO Roster 12-hour shifts 50-58 hours weekly LOCAL Full-time opportunities for successful candidates Key Responsibilities FORMWORKERS Interpret construction drawings and formwork designs Construct and install formwork for structural concrete including footings, slabs, walls, columns, pits, culverts, and headstocks Erect and dismantle conventional and modular formwork systems (PERI, Doka, RMD) Install cast-ins, block-outs, and edge forms prior to concrete placement Strip formwork safely and repair minor concrete surface defects as required Requirements: Minimum 2 years' experience in formwork carpentry Experience with modular formwork systems including PERI and RMD Ability to work safely in a fast-paced construction environment CONCRETERS Place, spread, and finish concrete to required levels and tolerances Operate screeds, vibrators, trowels, and other concreting tools Ensure quality finishes and curing requirements are achieved Assist with pour preparation and post-pour clean-up Requirements: Proven experience in concrete placement and finishing Ability to work from levels and set-outs Strong understanding of finishing techniques and curing methods RIGGERS Set up and inspect rigging equipment including slings, shackles, chains, and spreader bars Safely rig, direct, and land loads including precast units, reinforcement bundles, and formwork systems Interpret lift plans and communicate clearly with crane crews and site supervisors Maintain lifting gear logs and ensure compliance with inspection and certification requirements Requirements: Minimum 2 years' experience in construction or precast rigging Valid High Risk Work Licence – Rigging (RI, RA) Previous experience using mag drills and rattle guns on civil or structural projects (beneficial) Strong understanding of load control, signalling, and lift planning STEELFIXERS Read and interpret reinforcement drawings and bar schedules Install reinforcement bar, mesh, and prefabricated cages in accordance with drawings and tolerances Tie reinforcement securely using appropriate tools and techniques Coordinate with formwork and concrete crews to meet program requirements Requirements: Proven experience installing reinforcement steel on civil or structural projects Ability to read and interpret rebar drawings Experience tying reinforcement bar, mesh, and prefabricated reinforcement cages To Apply, please submit your application below.
